Instructions

1. Begin with freshly cleansed and thoroughly dried skin. Avoid applying the peel on damp skin.

2. Use a clean gauze or pad to evenly apply the first layer of the peel to clean, dry skin following this systematic pattern:

   • Start from the center of the forehead, moving towards the temples in each direction.
   • Trace down the sides of the face along the jawline.
   • Glide from the center of the brows down the bridge of the nose.
   • Extend down the sides of the nose to the upper and lower cheek areas.
   • Apply above the upper lip area, avoiding direct contact with the lips.
   • Sweep under the chin in each direction and along the jawline.
   • Optionally, treat the décolletage area in each direction.

   A single application covering the entire face should utilize approximately half of the product in the vial. If needed, the remaining product in the vial can be used for a second layer. Mild tingling during application is normal. However, if you experience significant irritation such as strong burning, stinging, or discomfort that persists after 3-5 minutes, refrain from applying the second layer and remove the peel immediately.

3. Allow the peel to remain on the skin for approximately 10 minutes after applying the first layer. Remove the peel using a damp gauze or towel, followed by rinsing the skin with water.

4. After removing the peel, apply a physical sunscreen to the treated area. Make sure to incorporate daily sunscreen use following the peel to protect your skin.

Post-Peel Care:

• Sun Alert: Ensure adequate broad-spectrum sunscreen protection for at least one week post-peel. Consistent sunscreen application is recommended thereafter to maintain results and prevent potential adverse reactions or skin discolorations due to sun exposure.
• Expect mild dryness and redness for 1-2 days following the peel. Some flaking or peeling may occur within 48 hours and persist for 2-5 days. Even if physical peeling isn't evident, the product is still exfoliating your skin. Avoid speeding up the peeling process with additional exfoliation or scrubbing, and handle your skin gently during this time. Refrain from picking or pulling peeling skin.
• Avoid facial products containing fragrance for 3-5 days post-peel, as they may exacerbate skin irritation. Opt for a gentle moisturizer, such as the Obagi Clinical Kinetin+ Hydrating Cream, to alleviate dryness and redness as needed.
• Wait until all signs of peeling have subsided before scheduling any other facial procedures following the Obagi Blue Peel.
